Abbie Sisouphanh
PCA, CRC
Professional Counselor Associate, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor
Hi, my name is Abbie. It’s nice to meet you! My pronouns are She/Her.

Therapy with me is a space to explore what feels unclear, overwhelming, or out of sync. Together, we’ll process your experiences, make meaning of them, and work toward balance and well-being. I aim to create a space where you feel heard, valued, and understood, and where we can work together to navigate challenges and build a life that feels authentic to you.
I tailor therapy to your unique needs, drawing on mindfulness, strength-based practices, and a collaborative approach. I integrate approaches such as person-centered, narrative, psychodynamic, relational, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), approaching our work together from a trauma-informed lens.
A commitment to multiculturalism, equity, and social justice guides my work, and I strive to create an inclusive, accessible, and non-judgmental space where your diverse experiences are respected and embraced.
2021: BS in Psychology, minor in Community Health: Portland State University
2024: MS in Counseling: Portland State University
I work with individual adults 18+ who are looking for support with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, loneliness, disability, work or academic stress, careers, relationship/interpersonal conflict, life transitions, and identity exploration, whether that’s tied to culture, race, values, or evolving roles in your life. Additionally, I’m drawn to working with second-generation Americans, supporting clients in navigating the unique challenges of growing up between cultures and balancing family and societal expectations.
I have a background as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). This training, grounded in the medical, psychological, social, and systemic aspects of disability, has deepened my awareness of the barriers and structures that impact people with disabilities. It informs my approach to supporting their independence, integration, and fulfillment across both vocational and personal domains.
