Welcome! I am April Bingaman, a Clinical Social Worker Associate in Oregon. My experience includes serving a diverse population of people which has given me the ability to see people through a broad lens that illuminates the whole person, their strengths, their support, their spirituality, and their needs. It has been my privilege and honor to serve people in the moments when they feel lost, broken, and hurt to help empower them to see their value and strengths as an individual.
Through a strength-based and client-centered approach I provide a trauma-informed and safe place for all my clients to be themselves. In the therapy I provide I use an eclectic range of evidence-based modalities that include, but are not limited to CBT, DBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing. I work with a wide range of struggles including anxiety, depression, interpersonal and relational issues, boundaries and communication struggles, grief/loss, and with those experiencing PTSD from trauma and abuse. I serve adults aged 18+ and I am looking forward to creating a therapeutic partnership with you.
Outside of work I enjoy my family, friends, playing video games, and loving my three Huskies.
