I have been practicing mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) counseling with adults, adolescents and families since 2010. I directed an intensive-outpatient SUD/DUII program from 2020-23 and have been supervising therapists, interns, SUD counselors and working with clients and families in various settings since that time. I also have experience working in a residential treatment environment with adolescents and their families.
I enjoy working with a diverse population of individuals and families who are struggling with a wide range of mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, PTSD/CPTSD, intergenerational trauma, attachment related issues and co-occurring substance use disorders.
I provide a trauma-informed approach when working with clients. I approach the therapeutic process in a directive yet collaborative manner, which allows us the opportunity to work together on what matters most to you, at a pace you feel comfortable with. I utilize a strengths-based and solution focused lens with clients to maximize their strengths and abilities, in setting and reaching therapy goals.
