Hello my name is Catherine, it is nice to meet you. My pronouns are she/her.
Hello! I am so happy you are here. I want to share a bit about myself as a therapist.
I view counseling as a professional, collaborative relationship where we will work together to create and achieve your goals. I help break down the untrue, unhelpful messages we are constantly hearing from society. My experience includes working with folks of all ages; especially teens and young and middle adults. Whether you’re experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, ADHD, anything in between, or just struggling with a transition or communication – therapy is a great place to be.
I believe in the importance of autonomy and meeting you where you are at. In addition to a mixture of cognitive-behavioral therapy and person-centered therapy; patience, support, validation, psycho-education, and consistency are important tools I bring to counseling.
Therapy is an investment in yourself. You deserve to feel good. I’m looking forward to helping you take the first leap or perhaps getting back into the game.
2014: BS in Counseling and Human Services, minor in Psychology: University of Scranton
2016: MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling: University of Scranton
I work with teens/adults age 14 and older who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, anger, ADHD, and/or obsessive, intrusive thoughts. I also work with individuals who are working on communication skills, trying to adjust to a new phase of life, have been in high control environments, or parents who could benefit from a fresh set of skills.
