Hello! I am so happy you are here. I want to share a bit about myself as a therapist.
I work with my clients from an Existential and Client-Centered perspective. What this means is that I see the primary goal of therapy as helping my clients discover themselves more fully, and to move toward living with greater authenticity, meaning, and clarity of purpose. I help clients to look at big questions and use that to increase connection with themselves and others. I help clients move through life transitions: grief, illness, graduation, divorce, etc. I believe that these moments are an opportunity to examine yourself fully, and learn to engage with life more intimately, especially when things are hard.
I utilize a number of Evidence Based Modes of therapy regularly: Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), among many others. In our work we will work to define which forms of therapy may be effective for your unique needs.
