Dean E. Bichsel
MSW, QMHP, CSWA
Clinical Social Work Associate
Hi, my name is Dean. It’s nice to meet you! My pronouns are He/Him.
I am passionate about supporting individuals in achieving healing and growth. My aim is to provide a safe, compassionate space where you can explore challenges, develop insights, and build resilience. With over 15 years of experience across diverse settings, including crisis response, outpatient therapy, and case management, I bring a wealth of knowledge and empathy to my practice.
I specialize in working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief, and other life challenges. My approach combines evidence-based techniques such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing. Whether addressing relationship conflicts, self-esteem issues, or navigating life transitions, I tailor my methods to meet your unique needs.
In addition to my clinical work, I have an entrepreneurial background as the owner and operator of a successful 20-acre organic farm for over 15 years. This experience gave me profound insights into leadership, resilience, and navigating the complexities of running a business.
Managing all aspects of the farm—from production to marketing and financial oversight—has deeply enriched my understanding of accountability, adaptability, and problem-solving. These skills enhance my ability to support clients in overcoming challenges, achieving personal growth, and managing transitions in their own lives.
I am honored to walk alongside you on your path to healing, embracing your authentic self without fear of judgment. Whether looking for a short term solution-focused approach, or to tackle the longer process of true change, together we can create a roadmap for growth,
resilience, and well-being.
