Professional Counseling Associate, Nationally Certified Counselor

Hello my name is Rose and it is nice to meet you!  My pronouns are she/her.

Hi I am glad you are here.  Taking the first step towards counseling can be a very important one and I would like to tell you a little more about myself and how I approach theray.

I believe that we all maintain the power and resources, already within us, to guide us toward greater balance and harmony. My goal as a counselor is to assist you in your journey of living a more authentic and fulfilling life. I work with teens and adults, 14 years and older, who are experiencing trauma, grief, loss, anxiety, depression, and chronic pain and chronic illness. My approach to counseling is person-centered, providing a safe, non-judgmental, and empowering space for you to explore the challenges and patterns preventing you from achieving your goals and to discover your unique path for spiritual, emotional, social, and mental wellness. I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, depending upon each individual’s needs, informed by CBT, Internal Family Systems, Emotionally-Focused Individual Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.

Like many of us, I have experienced trauma and I have grieved the loss of loved ones. I also understand what it’s like to live in a body that experiences chronic pain and the limitations that this brings. I’ve done the work to process the difficult emotions and to discover unique strengths that helped me to build, not only resilience, but a true sense of purpose. You don’t have to go through it alone. I would be honored to journey with you, navigating those. difficult spaces, to uncover the person you are meant to be.

I look forward to working with you in your journey towards healing!
