Need somewhere safe enough to be seen as an imperfect human? I’m here for it and I’m happy you are here. Deciding to find a therapist is an important choice, and I’d be honored to work with you. I am a person-centered somatic art therapist. I use creativity and art processes as the language to access the parts of ourselves that need support with positive regard, unconditional acceptance and warmth, and somatic practices to reconnect the body, mind and spirit, and to integrate these experiences to increase flow through relational neurobiology. I also use EMDR and may incorporate other approaches as appropriate.
I have supported clients to navigate life transitions, neurodiversity, grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, identity and chronic illness in the context of their individual experience. I am currently working with adolescents and adults. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and body and sex positive. Also, you don’t have to see yourself as creative or as an artist to benefit from art therapy!
Prior to becoming an art therapist, I spent several years as an art educator and as an artist. I can be found outside of work with my kids hiking, nurturing my garden, making art, being in community or taking my dogs on adventures or being near any body of water.
I look forward to supporting your growth!
