Hello, my name is Tristen, and it is nice to meet you!

I am so excited to work with you on your journey to better connect with yourself. As a therapist, I view our work as a collaborative experience in which you are the expert on your experience. As such, I aim to co-create a compassionate space where you can feel fully heard, understood, and develop insight into the challenges and strengths you experience. With a strengths based and person-centered approach and a variety of evidence-based modalities, I’ll assist you in exploring your concerns, learn and utilize coping skills, recognize your resilience, and move toward living the life you want to live.
With a background in social work and various roles supporting people of diverse backgrounds, I’ve developed a culturally humble and anti-oppressive approach. As such, I hold a deep respect for people of all cultural identities, curiosity into each individual’s unique experience, and commitment to social justice that informs my work.
I have worked with people of various age groups but I am particularly welcoming of teens ages 14 and older, young adults, and middle adults who may be experiencing eating disorders and disordered eating, body image distress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, stress, burnout, family and social concerns, ADHD, Autism, teenage challenges, and life transitions. I also enjoy working with those who identify as neurodivergent and have experience supporting neurodivergent youth, young adults, and their families using an affirming approach informed by neurodiversity and disability rights movements.
In my personal life, I enjoy being outdoors, crafting, traveling, and cuddling with my cat Lolo.
