Brittany Potter

CSWA

Clinical Social Work Associate

Hi my name is Brittany and it is nice to meet you!  My pronouns are she/her.

Taking the first step towards therapy can be a very important and sometimes challenging endeavor.

I believe that we all maintain the power and resources within to guide us toward healing. My goal as a therapist is to assist you in your journey of living a more fulfilling life, however that looks for you.  I work with teens and adults 14 years and older. My areas of focus include trauma, grief, addiction, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues.
My approach to counseling is strengths based and person-centered, providing a safe, non-judgmental, and empowering space for you to explore the challenges and patterns preventing you from achieving your goals and mental wellness. Therapies I am trained in and use often include but are not limited to: CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy.
I have experience working with the juvenile justice system, addictions, inpatient mental health, and crisis response. I have a Master of Arts in Social Work from Pacific University.

The journey towards wellness is collaborative.  You don’t have to go through it alone, and I would be honored to be a part of your story.
