As a clinical social worker, I am passionate about supporting people in healing from eating disorders, anxiety, and trauma. I enjoy working with people of all identities and backgrounds, and I am affirming of queer, trans, and neurodivergent identities. I am also drawn to working with medically complex clients and those navigating the often-overlooked intersection of physical illness and mental health.
My approach is rooted in authenticity, compassion, and an unwavering belief in each person’s capacity for healing, growth, and self-acceptance. I identify as queer and fat, and I strive to create a therapeutic space that welcomes all identities without judgment. My work is grounded in a Health at Every Size (HAES) philosophy and a commitment to social justice, particularly in challenging fatphobia and expanding access to quality mental health care. Clinically, I take an eclectic and relational approach, integrating attachment theory, parts work, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), polyvagal theory, and Motivational Interviewing. I work from a strengths-based lens and prioritize the therapeutic relationship as the foundation for meaningful change.
I honor the belief that clients are the experts in their own lives and aim to help them embrace all parts of themselves with compassion. I’m especially passionate about helping people explore their values, cultivate self-respect, and take actions that align with their authentic selves. I am honored to walk alongside clients as they heal their relationships with food, body, and self while fostering resilience, self-love, and liberation.
